Mr Graham Duguid is a Consultant Ophthalmologist with a specialist interest in vitreoretinal surgery. He is based at the Western Eye Hospital in London, United Kingdom, and brings extensive international expertise in the management of complex retinal and cataract conditions.

He graduated in medicine from the University of Aberdeen, Scotland, and completed advanced ophthalmic training in Melbourne, London, and Paris. Mr Duguid undertook specialist training at Moorfields Eye Hospital, London, where he served as Registrar, Senior Registrar, and Vitreoretinal Fellow.

He holds the distinguished title of Surgeon Oculist to the Royal Household, reflecting the highest standards of clinical excellence and trust.

Mr Duguid specialises in the diagnosis and surgical management of vitreoretinal disease, cataract surgery, and ocular trauma. His expertise includes the treatment of macular holes, epiretinal membranes, retinal detachment, diabetic retinopathy, and sickle cell retinopathy.

An experienced cataract surgeon, he performs modern small-incision cataract surgery and offers advanced intraocular lens technologies including toric, enhanced, extended depth-of-focus, and multifocal lenses tailored to the individual needs of each patient.

In addition to his clinical practice, Mr Duguid has held national advisory roles including serving on the DVLA Vision Panel and acting as Specialist Advisor in Ophthalmology to the UK Civil Aviation Authority. He is the Immediate Past President of the Ophthalmology Section of the Royal Society of Medicine and practises privately at The London Clinic Eye Centre, St John and St Elizabeth Hospital, and The Cromwell Hospital in London.
