Miss Rajni Jain is a Consultant Ophthalmologist and specialist Oculoplastic Surgeon at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust, London, with more than two decades of consultant-level practice. She specialises in the diagnosis and management of complex disorders affecting the eyelids, lacrimal (tear duct) system, orbit, and periorbital region, treating both functional and cosmetic conditions in adults and children.
Miss Jain completed her specialist ophthalmic training at Moorfields Eye Hospital, followed by advanced fellowships in oculoplastic and reconstructive surgery at Moorfields Eye Hospital and the Craniofacial Unit at Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. She also undertook a dedicated paediatric fellowship, further developing her expertise in the management of eyelid and lacrimal conditions in children.
Recognised for her precision, meticulous surgical technique, and aesthetic judgement, Miss Jain is particularly sought after for eyelid surgery (blepharoplasty) and periorbital rejuvenation, helping patients achieve a more refreshed, natural appearance while maintaining the health and function of the eyes. Many patients seek her care for drooping eyelids that impair vision, eyelid lumps and lesions, watery eyes, or to restore a natural, rested appearance around the eyes.
In addition to her clinical work, Miss Jain has authored numerous peer-reviewed publications and remains actively involved in postgraduate education and surgical training. She serves on the Faculty of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists and has held several senior educational roles, including Training Programme Director, College Tutor, and Lead for Training the Trainers. She regularly trains fellows from across the world and is invited to teach and lecture at national and international meetings.
Miss Jain is a member of the Royal College of Ophthalmologists, the European Society of Ophthalmic Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery (ESOPRS), the British Oculoplastic Surgery Society (BOPSS), and EuGOGO (European Group on Graves’ Orbitopathy).
